Neurobiology of Language

Neurobiology of Language is the new open access journal sponsored by the Society for the Neurobiology of Language and MIT Press. Launched in March 2019, the journal provides a new venue for articles across a range of disciplines addressing the neurobiological basis of speech and language. The journal is supported by an international gender-balanced editorial board with wide-ranging expertise.  It is fully open access, published on-line, has author-friendly submission, and rigorous double-blind peer review, including consensus reviewing.  Article Processing Charges are significantly reduced for authors who are members of SNL to $800 per article.

The editors are now accepting submissions for the inaugural issue on work that significantly advances the understanding of language mechanisms as implemented in the human brain.

The journal Editors-in-Chief, Steven L. Small and Kate E. Watkins, will be at the MIT Press booth during the meeting. Do stop by if you have anything you would like to discuss or to learn more about the journal and how to submit articles. Find out more at: https://www.mitpressjournals.org/nol
