Presenter Instructions
All SNL 2020 presenters must prepare a presentation prior to the meeting. Poster presenters must upload a PDF of their poster and can optionally upload a video tour of their poster. All other presenters (symposia, slides and awards speakers) must upload a video presentation. See Preparing Your Presentation for information on creating and uploading your presentation files.
To present at SNL 2020, all presenters must upload their presentation files to their SNL Account by the deadlines shown below.
October 9: Upload Period Closes for Poster PDFs – Poster presenters must complete upload of poster PDFs.
October 16: Upload Period Closes for Videos – Poster presenters must complete upload of videos.
If you have not uploaded your presentation files by the upload deadline, your abstract will be withdrawn and removed from the SNL 2020 meeting.
You can upload revisions to your presentation files as often as you like through the upload deadline. Uploading a new presentation file will overwrite your previously uploaded file.
Poster Presentations
Required: PDF Poster – For poster presentations, you must upload a one-page PDF of your poster. The PDF file must be less than 20MB in size. Attendees can view your PDF on the website and download it for viewing in a viewer of their choice.
PDF Upload Deadline: Your completed poster PDF must be uploaded to your SNL Account no later than October 9, 2020.
Optional: Pre-recorded Video Poster Tour – Poster presenters have the option of uploading a video tour of their poster. The video tour cannot exceed five minutes in length. The uploaded video can be at any resolution, but a resolution of HD (1280 x 720) will load and play faster than a larger file. To make SNL 2020 as accessible as possible, we require that all video presentations be captioned.
All graphical elements shown in your video must be on your uploaded poster; you may rearrange these for clarity in your video. In addition, graphical elements in your video may be animated versions of those on your poster.
Video Upload Deadline: Your completed and captioned video must be uploaded to your SNL Account no later than October 16, 2020.
Slide and Symposium Presentations
Required: Pre-recorded Video – All scheduled presentations are “simulated live” presentations in which the pre-recorded presentation is played on a live Zoom with the presenter and attendees in attendance. During the presentation, attendees can pose questions via chat. A Question and Answer period will follow.
You must upload a pre-recorded video of your talk in MP4 format. Slide presentations cannot exceed 15 minutes in length. Symposium talks vary in length based on the number of talks in the two-hour symposium. Symposium speakers should talk to their symposium organizer about the length of their video.
Your uploaded video can be any resolution, but a resolution of HD (1280 x 720) will load and play faster than a larger file. To make SNL 2020 as accessible as possible, we require that all video presentations be captioned.
Video Upload Deadline: Your completed and captioned video must be uploaded to your SNL Account no later than October 16, 2020.
