Student Volunteer Opportunity

Student (pre-doctoral) volunteers are needed to assist in a variety of jobs at the SNL 2023 meeting in Marseille, France. Responsibilities may include, for example, preparing attendee packets, monitoring meeting room doors, checking in pre-registrants, and answering questions at the Registration Desk.

Volunteering at SNL is a fun and fast-paced job that consists of either one shift of five and a half (5.5) hours of service or two shifts of three (3) hours of service, in exchange for free registration at the meeting. The work requires that you be on your feet most of the time, so please keep this in mind when applying.

Please complete the volunteer application, below.  When selecting your choices of preferred shifts, please carefully consult the SNL 2023 Schedule of Events to avoid scheduling conflicts.  Volunteers are needed at their assigned posts during the entirety of their shifts.  For those of you who have presentations, please confirm your presentation time.

Volunteer positions are reserved for SNL Students only.  And will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.  Registration fees for the 2023 meeting will be comped for volunteers. If you are already registered, a full refund will be issued following the meeting to the original form of payment.

We are no longer able to accept applications for volunteer positions.  Applicants will be notified by September 15.
